Soil temperature is an important condition for the growth of greenhouse crops. At present, greenhouses in facilities mainly rely on sunlight to heat up in winter. On sunny days, the temperature in the greenhouse reaches the expected temperature, but the soil temperature is low. Once it catches up with continuous cloudy days, the temperature in the shed and the soil temperature are not ideal, which can lead to reduced production in severe cases. In response to this situation, the Shuangjie Modern Agriculture Demonstration Park started by raising the soil temperature, using solar collector panels to absorb light energy, and heating the water in the circulating pump. Walking into the greenhouse of the Shuangjie Modern Agriculture Demonstration Park, a gust of hot air rushed over us immediately, and the thermometer on the wall pointed to 20 degrees Celsius. The tropical red-heart dragon fruit planted in the shed is big and red and hangs all over the planting frame, and the influence of the strong wind and cooling weather cannot be seen at all. In the corner of the greenhouse, a heater is running roaringly. The warm air passes through the pipe connected to the air outlet of the machine and directly into the soil at the root of the dragon fruit. This is equivalent to the "floor heating" used at home.

Light is an important condition for the growth of greenhouse crops. Continuous smog and cold weather make the light obviously insufficient. The LED supplementary lights in the Shuangjie Modern Agriculture Demonstration Park are all turned on, which ensures the photosynthesis of the crops.

 

With "floor heating" and supplementary light, the problem of ground temperature in winter sheds is easily solved. All kinds of fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes, bell peppers, eggplants, and Dutch melons can be produced out of season, thereby ensuring high yields of crops produced out of season.
